Buddy returned next day
The following morning, Buddy trotted back into the shop, carrying a new leaf. Mr. Jenkins was ready for him, crouching down and offering him another meal.
Buddy ate gratefully as a couple of customers watched with fond smiles. Mr. Jenkins gave Buddy a pat on the head, and Buddy wagged his tail in appreciation before once again leaving the shop.
