A new routine formed
Buddy’s visits became a regular occurrence, like clockwork, every morning at opening time. Mr. Jenkins always had food ready for him, and the customers grew used to seeing Buddy around the shop.
Some of them even chipped in with extra snacks for the dog. Buddy seemed to enjoy the daily attention, wagging his tail as he received pats from the friendly customers.
