Back Home Uneasiness
Once we got home, Rocky couldn’t seem to settle down. He roamed the living room, circling and sniffing restlessly.
Every noise made him twitch, like he was expecting trouble around any corner. “Come on, buddy, what’s going on?” I asked, sinking into my chair with a sigh.
Watching him brought back memories of the past, moments of tension and uncertainty he seemed to face alone.
Despite being home, Rocky acted like he was on guard duty.
