According to “A Heart for Animals”, man’s best friend really laughs! Because the animal has learned that we do not threaten ourselves when we show our teeth, but that it is about something positive. So when a dog smiles at you by pulling back its lips, the animal is either saying hello to you or it wants to play with you.
