“Where did you get that?” Mark asked, his voice sounding more serious than Laura expected. She explained the flea market and the friendly, yet strange, old man who had sold it to her.
Mark didn’t respond right away. He picked up the bear and turned it over in his hands, searching the fabric with careful, almost nervous fingers.
