Mark’s past
Mark sat down on the edge of the couch, still holding the bear. He looked at Laura with wide, uncertain eyes.
“I haven’t seen this bear in over twenty years,” he said quietly. Laura frowned, confused. “What do you mean? Have you held this bear before?” Mark nodded, still staring at the toy.
