While Megan moved between her and other clients, Anna chatted lightly with the two women sitting across from her.
They swapped stories about old clothes and odd finds, laughing about thrift store treasures and the strange things people sometimes gave away. Anna liked the easy, shallow conversation. It helped the time pass.
