After nearly two hours, Anna found herself gazing absentmindedly around the salon. Her eyes landed on the small television mounted high in the corner, barely noticeable among the shelves of hair products and rows of magazines.
The TV was set to a news channel, but the sound was off, drowned out by the music on the radio.
